The Trust requires clerical staff to join our bank to provide support in various departments around the hospital. Our 'bank' operates like an internal agency, booking temporary staff on a flexible basis.
Main duties of the job
Bank administrators work in a variety of different roles covering short or medium term gaps and assisting during times of high service demand. The post holder will be required to undertake administrative duties for a required department for example making and sending out appointments as well as dealing with incoming and outgoing telephone calls and emails. The post holder may work individually or within a team. The post holder will be required to input and retrieve patient information using in house systems (training will be given).
It will be necessary to liaise in person, by email and by telephone with patients and all levels of medical, clerical and nursing staff.

- To deal with patients in person and on the telephone in a polite and courteous manner.
- To adhere to confidentiality and data protection policies.
