Job summary
This is a key role in supporting the Office of the CIO and Digital SMT to help monitor, co-ordinate, and assure on the administrative business operations of the Division of 100+ staff. This includes but not limited to supporting the oversight of; Financial monitoring and planning (budgets £10million+), contract management (100+contracts), business case development and review and monitoring complianceagainst standards.You will be responsible for the supervision, development and appraisal of the Business Administration team only.You will provide support and input to projects within Digital Services and across the Trust as assigned
Main duties of the job
o Provide support and co-ordination to the Office of the CIO and the Digital senior leadership team to help them manage all aspects of Digital Services business administration to meet objectives, meet defined standards and maintain an excellent service to help Christie staff care for our patients.
o Working in partnership with the digital SMT, Trust corporate and clinical departments in monitoring the delivery of digital strategy and improvement goals to meet key national and local standards.
o Provide support and co-ordination to the senior leadership team in service change and reform ensuring alignment with the strategic direction of the Trust.
o Support the teams in their development and implementation of improved service delivery, by evidencing and communicating achievement.
o Demonstrating the support of excellent financial oversight and understanding, working in partnership with the digital SMT and the finance team to support and co-ordinate the development and implementation of cost control, realisation of savings, and adherence to excellent procurement practices.
o To be a resource and active participant in specific service development projects across Digital, particularly with communication and monitoring of Digital business activities.
