Job summary
The Administrative/Surveillance Assistant will support the team in all aspects of Administrative and Surveillance support across the team, including Infection Prevention and Control, Sepsis and Tissue Viability.
Administrative duties include:
- Support entire programme of work including IPC, Sepsis and Tissue Viability.
- Administrative support for meetings and events, preparing agendas, compiling and distributing papers, first point of contact regarding meeting arrangements and attendance, taking minutes/action notes, and following up on action points.
- Support fit testing service by carrying out all aspects of fit testing and assisting the team with the maintenance.
Surveillance Audit duties include:
- Carrying out specific audits in relation to the surveillance of HCAIs in all areas of the Trust.
- Accurately collecting and collating data, working closely and communicating effectively with area teams.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will work with a wide variety of Inpatient and Outpatient settings across the Trust in all aspects of Infection Prevention and Control Surveillance. Assisting our Team by being actively involved in quality improvement strategies within our Trust, participating in the programme by conducting audits under the supervision of the team.

The applicant should be a motivated individual with a keen interest and enthusiasm to professionally develop in a wide range of new skills and knowledge within the Infection Prevention Team, Sepsis and Tissue Viability Team.
