Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Haematology Nurse Clinician (advanced nurse practitioner) to work with the haematology team at The Christie NHS Trust at the Macclesfield site.

Haematology patients receiving out-patient care, including those attending the SACT Unit that require in-patient treatment remain under the care of the admitting General Physician with the haematologist providing relevant advice. There is a separate same day emergency care unit (SDEC) for blood transfusions, immunoglobulin and iron infusions. The Haematology Nurse clinician will also work under the supervision of the Haematology Consultant in the management of these patients.
