Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic and visionary midwife to join our team. Perinatal Pelvic Health Services (PPHS) will lead localdelivery of the national ambition to improve the prevention, identification, and referral to NICE-recommended treatment for pelvic health problems during pregnancy and for at least 12 months following birth.
You should have a broad knowledge of all areas of midwifery and a passion around pelvic health andperineal care services. The post holder must be flexible, innovative and resilient with excellent organisational skills.
You should have an understanding of Perinatal Pelvic Health Services and Perineal care services, although training and support from the specialist Perineal and pelvic health midwife will be provided on appointment. You will be responsible for pre and postnatal education, working within the PPHS multidisciplinary team and seeing patients in a clinical setting supporting the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job
Perform comprehensive assessment of PPHS care needs for women with identified pelvic health and perineal conditions with the support of thespecialist midwife for perineal and pelvic health. Support the service by working alongside and under the indirect supervision of the SpecialistMidwife for perineal and pelvic health and the PPHS physiotherapy team. Provide targeted midwifery advice , working collaboratively andcooperatively with other agencies, involving the women in the organisation of care provided. Triage referrals to the service, referring to and liaisingwith appropriate agencies and complete appropriate care and education for these women.
