Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, forward thinking individual to join the Medical Records team at Leighton Hospital as a Room Booking Co-ordinator. Good organisational and communication skills are essential and knowledge of Trust systems including Meditech and Bookwise would be advantageous.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing clinic room bookings relating to outpatient areas and elective hub services at Leighton Hospital Crewe. A key requirement of this role is to maintain accurate and up to date plans of the room bookings and to ensure that the system accurately reflects room bookings.

The Coordinator will be expected to organise their workload and co-ordinate their activities in conjunction with the team and services to ensure that an efficient service is provided. It is essential that the post holder is able to exercise initiative suitable to the role, and is fully supportive to other colleagues in the administrative team.
