An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Eye care centre, ophthalmic outpatients department for a band 3 health care assistant working full and part time hours between Monday to Friday.
The eye care centre is an extremely fast paced busy ophthalmic outpatient department .
Approximately 4500 patients attend each month for a variety of ophthalmic conditions and treatments.
As a health care you will be assisting clinicians undertaking specialised clinics.
This post is rotational with ophthalmic clinics held in the surgical centre Northwich
Main duties of the job
Check patients visual acuity.
gain competency for numerous pieces of equipment.
Assist all grades of clinicians with clinics.
Ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and legible.
Ensure clinics run smoothly.
Ensure all supplies off stock is available and well stocked.
Support patients .
Working with a ophthalmic multi disciplinary team
Basic observations.
