Job responsibilities

Through personal development in agreement with relevant clinicians and identification of service needs the post holder will:

This post will be within the middle grade tier working at Middle Grade level.

Duties will be across:

• Outpatient clinics alongside consultants
• Safeguarding; assessment and management of children referred for safeguarding
• Attendance at monthly peer review meetings.

Qualifications

Essential

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification

Desirable

• MRCPCH or equivalent medical qualification
• Community Paediatric experience

Fitness to Practise

Essential

• Full GMC Registration with a Licence to Practice
• Applicants knowledge is up to date and fit to practise safely

Eligibility

Essential

• Evidence of achievement of Foundation competencies (or equivalent) by time of appointment in line with GMC standards in Good Medical Practice including: ogood clinical care omaintaining good medical practice ogood relationships and communication with patients ogood working relationships with colleagues ogood teaching and training oprofessional behaviour and probity odelivery of good acute clinical care
• Evidence of achievement of ST1 & ST2 competences (or equivalent) in a relevant Specialty
