Job summary

Are you looking to gain experience at a managerial level in Audiology with a secondment or short-term post? We are looking to support an Audiologist to advance their career by offering 9 months experience working as a Service Manager in the Paediatric Audiology Service at Mid Cheshire Hospitals.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will work closely with the clinical lead, an experienced Consultant Audiovestibular Physician, and collaborate with the Head of Service for Adult Audiology. Clinical duties include assessment of hearing and provision of hearing aids for babies and children. The administrative office is based at Eagle Bridge Health Centre in Crewe, with clinical facilities at Leighton Hospital and in the community. The successful candidate will join the team at an exciting time of service development and will play a key role in shaping the future of the service as we progress towards UKAS accreditation.

The ideal candidate will be friendly and approachable, demonstrating good communication skills with service users and other professionals. They will have a broad understanding of the current professional landscape and have a proactive attitude to service development. They will be keen to continue their professional and personal development, and happy to share knowledge with colleagues.
