Job summary
Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT) is the organisation which manages Leighton Hospital, Crewe and Victoria Infirmary, Northwich, and as of 1st June 2021, the operational management of the dermatology department at Waters Green Medical Centre, Macclesfield.
An opportunity has arisen for someone to work as a Booking Officer for the Dermatology team based at Waters Green Medical Centre, Macclesfield.
The main part of the role is to ensure that dermatology appointments are booked in line with guidance and pathways, to manage the waiting list and input data onto the EMIS system. You will have telephone contact with patients regarding their appointments, so excellent customer service skills are required. You will be required to respond to email and telephone queries from staff and external organisations in a timely manner and prepare clinical documentation including the management of referrals for clinic appointments.
