The Imaging department at MCHT is expanding! The Medical Imaging Department has had major investment in CT, MRI, and Projectional Radiography. Our site houses 4 state-of-the-art CT scanners and a purpose-built inpatient CT suite. We pride ourselves on pushing the boundaries; in dose saving techniques and working with Radiologists to achieve diagnostic imaging previously unattainable in CT. We are an innovative department; always looking to optimise patient care by offering role development and job progression for our team.
Main duties of the job
If you are an enthusiastic, hard-working, ambitious individual we have Band 5 (trainee link grade) and Band 6 vacancies available. This is an opportunity for you to start your CT career whilst continuing to hone your projectional imaging skills.
Successful candidates must have current HCPC registrationMCHT was rated "Good" by the CQC (2018) and were recently named as one of the best hospitals in the country (CHKS Top Hospital for 2019). The Radiology department has been recognised as the Best Training Placement for Radiologist Registrars for the last 3 years.
We provide a 24/7 projectional and CT service; successful candidates are expected to participate in the OOH rota.

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT) provides good quality, safe and effective healthcare to the people of Cheshire and beyond.
