Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Alder Hey's neurosciences therapy team for an experienced physiotherapist with an interest in neuromuscular and long term conditions. The neurosciences therapy team at Alder Hey is made up of subspecialities including neuromuscle, acute neurology and neurosurgery, oncology and tone management. The successful candidate to this post will work mainly within the neuromuscular team, including the neuromuscular research team, but will have the opportunity to work with and support the wider neurosciences service as well as support children across the trust with complex neurodisability and developmental needs.
We are a large integrated therapy team with experienced occupational therapists and physiotherapists, rotational therapists and therapy assistants working across acute and outpatient services. We offer regular in-service training and peer supervision,

This post is permanent 0.8 WTE (30 hours) with the potential for an additional 7.5 hours (total 37.5 hours) to be discussed at interview.
