The Patient Safety Care Improvement Team have an exciting internal opportunity for a Band 7 Project Manager. The post is full-time (37.5 hours per week) and for a 12 month secondment.
The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of national, local and externally funded projects. The post is suitable for an individual who can demonstrate substantial project management experience and is driven to improve care for our population - further details are in the job description and person specification.
Main duties of the job
The role requires a Project Manager with strong project management experience to support the delivery of nationally and locally commissioned programmes.
The post-holder will have excellent engagement skills in order to mobilise regional and local resources and will be a catalyst for change to improve patient care and reduce health inequalities. The post-holder will be responsible for the planning, co-ordination, monitoring and delivery of identified projects and workstreams across the HINWC. In order to achieve this, they will work with HINWC Programme Managers, as well as other stakeholders / networks across the North West Coast.
The post-holder will be required to utilise robust project management methodology to deliver projects at scale within agreed timescales, identifying and mitigating risks to delivery. Projects will be delivered in collaboration with frontline workers and clinical leads, supporting the development and use of innovative tools to drive best practice and innovation in mental health across the region.

Delivery in this area will also include, but is not limited to; design and facilitation of workshops, researching and assimilating relevant learning materials, developing accredited learning materials for online and face to face learning opportunities, facilitating webinars, providing regular contact and support to communities of practice or learning systems and taking the lead on specific internal and external projects relevant to the core business of the HINWC.
