Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic motivated physiologist trained within the area of ACHD Echocardiography. The successful candidates will work with the existing CHD staff in the Northwest to provide Level 1 services in Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital and satellite centres. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the ACHD service in the Northwest and to deliver a CHD service which meets the CHD clinical standards. The suitable candidate will be based in Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital but will be expected to also work across satellite sites. We are looking for candidates who share our passion for patient and family care, with a strong belief in influencing the quality agenda, whilst supporting the development of nursing and medical colleagues alike.
Voluntary Registration to the AHCS/RCCP and BSE accreditation or equivalent are essential, you should hold EACVI accreditation in CHD. The suitable applicant should have the ability to work under pressure and be able to prioritise their individual workload, as well as being able to work effectively within a team and support development of junior staff.
Main duties of the job
T This position will allow the successful candidates the opportunity to participate in all areas of ACHD Echocardiography techniques including, TOE and invasive structural procedures requiring echo support.
The successful candidate will also assist in the development and delivery of training plans. The candidate should be able to provide evidence of continuing professional development.
