Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Physiotherapist to join our medical rotations carousel. At present the role consists of Accident and Emergency Department / Frailty Team, Stroke and Acute Medicine, however there is opportunity to expand this and to rotate across both surgical and medical directorates. There is future potential to expand our partnership working with Southport and Ormskirk hospitals with the opportunity to work across the wider sites. The rotations are for 9 months giving the candidate the chance to successfully embed within the teams and gain in-depth knowledge of the patient caseloads. Please note NHS experience is essential for this post.

Rotations provide opportunity for the highly motivated therapist to develop their skills in a variety of specialist areas. Working in a diverse environment offers scope to build on skills in a high paced AED setting as well as a specialist service within our Stroke Unit and the diverse medical wards across Acute Medicine. You will need to demonstrate confidence and clarity with your clinical reasoning and make informed decisions that may assist in turning people around safely and effectively in a timely manner. You must be adaptable to increasing demand often in a high-pressured setting.
