Job summary

We are recruiting for both sites Southport and Ormskirk.

Part time vacancies available

Working patterns for Southport:

20 hours posts - Monday - Friday, 18.00 hrs - 22.00 hrs

6 hour post- Saturday/-Sunday 17.00 - 20.00

Working patterns for Ormskirk:

20 hours posts - Monday - Friday, 18.00 hrs - 22.00 hrs

6 hour posts - Saturday- Sunday 17.00 - 20.00

Providing a customer focused service, to carry out general and specialised cleaning tasks in accordance with Trust procedures.

To ensure the environment is maintained to a high standard and safe working practices adhere to in all aspects of hygiene management

Main duties of the job

Cleaning of structures internally / externally, indirect patient equipment and components manually or mechanically.

Isolation/ deep clean as appropriate.

Maintenance / cleaning of all cleaning equipment.

Safe removal of dirty linen

Assist in the commissioning/ decommissioning of new area

Curtain changes as appropriate

Keep a tidy work environment

Follow Waste Disposal Policy to ensure safe removal of waste, ensuring

correct segregation of waste

Ensuring the removal of waste by contractors is carried out on a weekly basis

Ensuring that building security controls are adhered to and problems reported

immediately.

Key holder for community buildings.

To work unsupervised as a Lone Worker and be aware off the issues.

To cover other clinics or hospitals as necessary
