Job summary

We are looking to appoint a Specialty Doctor in Dermatology on a 12 month fixed term, full-time contract (10 PAs per week).

The successful applicant will be required to join our busy Consultant-led team in the delivery of high quality, patient centred Dermatology Services.

Main duties of the job

The position is based in the purpose built Dermatology Unit at Ormskirk Hospital with in-house facilities including PUVA, UVB, TL01 therapies, photodynamic therapy and a patch test service.

There are also dedicated Skin Cancer Clinics and weekly Skin Cancer MDT, Biologic Clinics and Minor Surgery Clinics.

The post is 10 PAs per week, with one session being based at Broadgreen Hospital for CPD.

The work is largely outpatient based with occasional admissions to general medical wards for acute dermatological problems.
