An exiting opportunity has arisen to join our amazing team as a Band 3 Senior health care assistant here at Southport and Ormskirk Hospital.

We are looking for an experienced Eye and ENT Outpatient Health Care Assistants or you are an existing Health Care Assistant who wishes to have a career change and want to work in a more specialist area and have further career development, with a passion for learning Ophthalmology and ENT.

You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert Multidisciplinary Team who are enthusiastic and encouraging in a happy working environment. Mentoring, training and guidance will be provided to the successful candidate.

An HCA role with the team will vary from day to day, including admission and recovery of patients in our day case unit within F Ward at Ormskirk, to assisting with all areas of care within Eye and ENT Outpatient Clinics across Southport and Ormskirk Outpatients. It is a busy, active role. As part of the team, you would rotate throughout the different roles across both sites.
The successful candidate will work closely with both Medical and Nursing Staff within the department, who think of the Patient first and always uphold the Trusts SCOPE values
