As part of our commitment to student ODP's and Nurses, the post holder will be expected to participate in the orientation, supervision and training of junior staff and students.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible Advanced Theatre Practitioner's with Surgical skills in Orthopaedics and Trauma to join our busy, friendly Operating Theatres.
Our department covers a range of specialties include, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Trauma, Urology, Gynae, Maternity, ENT and Spinal Injuries.
If you are keen to add to your existing theatre knowledge, and are committed to developing and enhancing the quality of care provided in the Operating Theatre environment, then this is the opportunity for you. The department provides a 24 hour emergency cover, therefore, there will be shift work, and on call commitment will be required.
You should possess:
- NMC Registered Nurse Part 1
- Registered ODP
