Job summary
The MSK service has a Band 6 Physiotherapist post. The successful candidate will rotate with in the MSK service, which includes rotations in Spinal including Chronic Pain, Lower Limb, Shoulders and Hands.
Wirral MSK service has a physiotherapy-led Triage/MCAS service. Excellent support is available from experienced Clinical Specialists and Advanced Practitioners via robust supervision.
There is also the opportunity to be involved in MCAS clinics with support. The successful candidate will be encouraged to participate in the on-going development of the service and will be encouraged to undertake audit projects and help promote the service to the wider MDT.
Applicants should have completed at least one rotation in musculoskeletal outpatients. The successful candidate will be expected to participate fully in providing evening clinicsand possibly week-end clinics in the future as required.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced physiotherapist who is flexible and able to work under pressure.
They should have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate a good awareness of supporting staff in their day to day management of caseload and in their continuing professional development.
They should be able to demonstrate that they have excellent clinical reasoning and problem solving skills.
