We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, proactive candidates who are passionate about delivering high quality service. We are looking for a registered nurse who is able to demonstrate leadership skills to assist with the running of a busy acute ward .
Acute Frailty Unit is a 25 bedded frailty Assessment unit that cares for patients with a wide range of respiratory and medical conditions. The ward is a busy environment & we strive to give excellent patient care from arrival to a safe discharge.
Inclusive within frailty we also run a Older Persons Rapid Assessment Clinic Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a caring, compassionate individual that is well organised, thrives under pressure and feels ready to develop their leadership skills. The Ideal candidate should be knowledgeable, approachable and possess the ability to remain calm under pressure, preferably with two years post registration. The ideal candidate must also show evidence of change management or be able to discuss changes which they have been involved in.
The Post holders will be expected to support the Ward Sister in coordination of the ward. The post will be rotational to cover a 7 day working week covering days/nights ensuring the smooth day to day running of the ward maintained.
The teamwork between the medical, nursing and allied health professionals ensures the constant delivery and focus on high quality patient care.
