Job summary
The eye clinic is the largest out patients department in the trust and we treat patients from new born to elderly. Ophthalmic care is seeing changes frequently in expanding treatment for conditions we can treat more ophthalmic conditions now than ever.
Main duties of the job
The staff nurses role is to assess and ensure the ophthalmic patient has been assessed and had all tests required to assess the patients condition prior to review by the doctor / treating clinician.
