An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant to join a friendly team within the Trauma and Orthopaedic division.
Ward 11 is a 25 bedded unit providing care for both Acute trauma admissions and also for patients with Orthopaedic issues or those who have undergone recent orthopaedic procedures.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for motivated and caring individuals with a keen interest Orthopaedic nursing. You will be assisting registered nurses and other members of the MDT in implementing patient care plans. Having a positive team culture is essential in ensuring the efficient running of the unit and ensuring positive experiences for patients. This requires excellent communication between the multidisciplinary team and the nursing team. As such this role needs individuals with great communications skill, who are adaptable, work well under pressure and who are excellent team players.
Our Health Care Assistants will be required to work shifts, including days, nights and weekend working. There is pastoral support and development opportunities available for all successful candidates.
