Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Clerical Team Leader within the Centralised Outpatient Department. This post will be based at Arrowe Park Hospital, with the requirement of cross-site cover should it be required.

The Clerical Team Leader is responsible for liaising with Medical Staffing to manage the cancellation process for Outpatient Clinics and managing the day to day organisation of clerical services.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to coordinate outpatient clinics, manage a team of clerical staff and work alongside the nursing team and clinicians

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be responsible for organising training and development, managing day to day organisation of clerical services, managing sickness, annual leave, job performance and workload.

They will be a key person with responsibility for the development of the administrative services within Outpatients. Experience of outpatient clinics and use of CERNER desirable.

  • NVQ level 3 in administration or equivalent experience
  • 5 GCSE's or equivalent
