Do you have broad-based General Internal Medicine (GIM) training and are interested in developing a career in Stroke Rehabilitation,Neurology or Neurologically-focused Rehabilitation Medicine?
Wirral University Teaching NHS Trust are inviting applications for the position of Clinical Fellow within our Stroke and Neuro-Rehabilitation unit at Clatterbridge Rehabilitation Centre (CRC). While prior experience in Stroke, Neurology, or Rehabilitation is desirable, it is not essential. We welcome all applicants who are motivated to pursue a career in these fields and are eager to develop professionally in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Main duties of the job
- Ward-Based Care: Provide regular middle grade clinical opinions for stroke, neuro-rehabilitation and internal medicine/elderly medicine inpatients.
- Clinical Development: Opportunities to attend regular training sessions and outpatient clinics to further your clinical knowledge and expertise.
- Personal Development: Time allocated for personal development, quality improvement projects, and other academic research/education interests.
- Teamwork: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care to patients, and engage in multi-professional learning and feedback.
