Job summary

The Facilities Department are looking to recruit a hardworking, enthusiastic individuals to join our Portering Services Team at Arrowe Park Hospital.

The role of the Porter is to support the smooth day to day operational running of our hospital through assisting patient flow that will provide a safe healthcare environment that meets our patient's expectations.

General portering duties will include the safe transport of patients and medical gases throughout the hospital site.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidates will be required to:

  • have the ability to work in a physical environment

About us

  • Knowledge of : Health and Safety Control of Infection Handling sharps Waste segregation Specialist equipment (the above knowledge will be gained through Trust Induction and on the job training which is expected to take place over a number of weeks after commencement in the role)
