Job summary
The Facilities Department are looking to recruit a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join our Hospital Transport Department based at Clatterbridge Hospital.
The role of Driver is to support the smooth day to day operational running of our Hospitals through assisting with the transport of goods, samples, and equipment to various locations across Wirral and Liverpool.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be required to:
Delivery of post and specimens to various hospitals.
Collection and Delivery of specimens and transfers of staff between sites as per work schedule. Delivery of Theatre and Pharmacy products (including controlled drugs) as per work schedule.
Complete Ad Hoc work which is work not on an agreed schedule and may involve the transfer of office equipment, furniture, beds, and fridges as instructed.
Deliver goods distribution materials to clinics, hospitals and patient homes.

- Educated to GCSE/CSE or equivalent to include English and Maths
- Full Clean Driving Licence
- Previous driving experience
- Experience co-ordinating workload priorities

- Experience working within an acute hospital setting within a constantly changing environment
