Job summary
To provide an essential but high quality HR support service to the HR Services Team and as appropriate to managers and staff within the Trust in accordance with national policy/guidelines and local Trust policies and procedures.
To be the first point of contact for the HR Services Team, managing communications in the absence of the HR Advisors/Managers.
Main duties of the job
To provide Tier 1 HR support to the HR Services Team in the delivery of a high quality, professional HR advisory service to managers across the Trust
Provide basic advice, guidance and support to Managers and staff on all aspects of HR policies generally and within the post-holders knowledge and capability, ensuring an objective, professional and confidential service.
Provide objective, confidential and professional support to all staff when needed.
To assist the HR Advisors/Managers with disciplinary, grievance, sickness, capability, audits and other such procedures, when appropriate, including arranging meetings / hearings, preparation of case packs, preparation of ET bundles, taking and issuing notes at appropriate hearings and meetings. Supporting all aspects of the Agenda for Change NHS job evaluation process Trust Wide.
