Job summary
The advertised post is for 37.5 hrs per week. The post holder may, on occasion, be required to work times outside of their normal working pattern if working in restricted areas of the hospital.
Experience of the following is essential:Chilled water/Refrigeration systems including fault diagnosis, minor repairs, F Gas removal and replacement, pressure testing of systems and replacement of parts.
Experience of the following is not essential but would be beneficial:Electrical distribution systems, boiler plant, steam and condensate systems, HVAC and compressors.
Main duties of the job
Ideally you will have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship gaining Advanced City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent, with five years post apprenticeship experience, working on air conditioning equipment. However, candidates who can demonstrate relevant experience will be considered.
