Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Radiographer to join our friendly multi professional team in our award winning Wirral Breast Centre based in Clatterbridge Hospital.
You will ideally have the PG Certificate in Mammography and be HCPC Registered to provide a fully comprehensive breast service to the women of the Wirral, however radiographers interested in training are welcome to apply and if successful will be appointed on a B6 Annex 21 paypoint
We are committed to promoting Advanced Practice and have a Consultant radiographer in post as well as Advanced Practitioners. We are also implementing CESM to aid the diagnosis and treatment of ladies who attend this department
You must be dedicated and committed to providing a high quality service to our patients customers and colleagues and have a flexible approach to working and be part of a team who provide a fully integrated breast service to the women of the Wirral.

Main duties of the job
- To carry out mammography and associated assessment within the Breast Care Unit/St Catherine's BSU for both symptomatic and NHSBSP services.
- To carry out specialist procedures/assessments within the Breast Care Unit for symptomaticand NHSBSP patients when requested.
- To assist the radiologists and clinicians in the timely delivery of the NHSBSP Breast Cancer services at Wirral Breast Centre.
