Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our friendly Inpatient Access team.
The Inpatient Access Administrators provide a focal point for inpatients and are responsible for booking a variety of theatre sessions across the trust.
You will need to be able to work in a calm, logical and methodical way but be able to multi-task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions. You must have a flexible approach and possess effective communication skills.
You must be a confident, diplomatic, team player who will thrive in a busy environment.
Knowledge of the Patient Administration System is vital in this frontline role to provide support in the smooth running of this office.
