Job summary

We are looking for a Efficiency Programme Manager to support the efficiency programme across both trusts. This is a group role supporting the efficiency teams at The Royal Wolverhampton and Walsall Healthcare to ensure we have a robust efficiency/CIP in place. The role will support the delivery of efficiencies alongside leadership at care group and divisional level. The role will support the monthly Use of Resources Workstream meetings chaired by the Senior Responsible Officers across the group in delivering their efficiency targets.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to showcase their talent by ensuring we have good project processes in place, the ability to identify efficiency opportunities and to challenge and support the Trust in delivering the financial efficiency targets of the Group and each Trust. Main duties of the job

This collective team provide crucial capacity to the Trusts in delivering strategically significant change programmes and tracking Cost/Income efficiency schemes. The Efficiency Programme Manager is responsible for co-ordinating the identification, measurement and delivery of service efficiency, helping to deliver the cost improvement plan. This is a key role in helping the organization(s) achieve a fit and sustainable future.

The Efficiency Programme Manager will and support the Use of Resources Workstream meetings that is chaired by the Senior Responsible Officer and meets monthly. The Efficiency Programme Manager will also ensure sufficient support is in place to support Divisional CIP plans and delivery of their workstreams to deliver the Use of Resources financial targets

About us

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is an integrated Trust and the only provider of NHS acute care in Walsall, serving a population of 284,300. It provides inpatient and outpatient services at the Manor Hospital as well as a wide range of services in the community. Walsall Manor houses the full range of district general hospital services under one roof.
