Job summary

To deliver autonomous advanced level practice encompasses aspects of education, research and leadership but is firmly grounded in direct compassionate care provision or clinical work with patients, families, and wider populations.

The post holders' own practice should be developed to an advanced level, whereby they can directly or indirectly influence all aspects of care and management of patients SACT care pathway.

The postholder will be responsible for supporting the development of training resources, taking part in teaching opportunities to support all staff involved in delivering systemic anti-cancer treatment. This includes teaching and assessing for signs off administration of Systemic anti-cancer treatments.

The key aspect of the role to provide clinical specialist advice and support to patients. Working alongside Consultant Oncologist's, Chemo nursing team, ACP's pharmacy, multi-disciplinary team and external partnerships.

Thepost holder will lead on Chemotherapy development and implementation of high a quality, safe and effective systemic anti-cancer therapy service.
