Job summary

To undertake the provision of holistic nursing care of patients and their significant others requiting chemotherapy/ anti-cancer treatment, with the support of seniorcolleagues.May develop the skills and competencies to perform additional tasks. Will work as part of the chemotherapy team to undertake the education of other healthcare professionals, patients and their carer's. Participate in audit and quality initiatives. Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams in both the acute trust and community. The post holder will rotate between acute hospital and community clinic settings. Will provide sound clinical knowledge in the field of anti-cancer drugs and have the skills necessary to provide care to patients and carer's received said treatments. Will assist in the supervision of junior nursing staff where applicable. Acts in a manner that upholds the values to the trust and that of the profession,
