The post holder will be manage Maternity Inpatients and to ensure service needs and targets are met.
The Post holder will ensure care provided to the women is pivotal.
The Post holder to ensure staff feel supported at all times.
Liaising with Divisional and Deputy Director for Women's and Care Group Manager to ensure any improvements and actions are carried out to continue to meet with service need.
Maintaining relationships with internal and external colleagues to discuss issues actions that may be required.
Main duties of the job
The women's service is looking to recruit to the post of Matron Maternity In-patient Services
The Care Group is looking for an exceptional leader to provide operational guidance and leadership to the nursing and midwifery teams.
The role will involve supporting the care group teams to maximise their performance against key local and national targets whilst enhancing patient care.
The post holder will be a key member of the operational care group teams working with the matrons, care group manager and Clinical Director
Supported by the Divisional Director of Midwifery, Gynaecology and Sexual Health and the wider Divisional Team of Six.
