Job summary

To take an active role in supporting the Dermatology Practitioners.The post holder will be required to communicate with a range of people including patients Primary Care Clinicians, Information team/audit departments, Service managers Healthcare agencies and external stakeholders, Consultants and other Health Care Professionals.Take responsibility for the administrative work surrounding outside agency activity.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide administration and clinical support to nursing and AHP staff who provide care to a group of patients and participate in providing a range of services within the Outpatient setting in accordance with, Trust policies and procedures.
  • To support the organisation and management of Dermatology outpatients by ensuring that clinics are efficient, and patient centred.

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above, NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience of working in a Healthcare Setting
  • Significant experience of working with computer systems, to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) in a working/academic environment
