Job summary

Dorset County Hospital is looking for a motivated and experienced Radiographer to join the team providing additional flexible working shifts to the team. Experience in CT, MRI or Mammography is advantageous.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be providing additional ad hoc shifts to supplement the current team at Dorset County Hospital. There may be a requirement to support our community services at Bridport, Blandford, Weymouth and Sherborne Hospitals.

We pride ourselves on a supportive environment for all Diagnostic Imaging staff. There is in house provision of education and training e.g. CPD evenings.

At Dorset County Hospital we welcome Radiographers into a friendly, supportive environment. We also enrol all new graduates into the Trust's preceptorship programme and allocate a mentor to guide new starters.

  • Evidence of ability to communicate with patients, relatives, and all levels of staff throughout the organisation
  • Understanding of clinical governance and how it relates to Diagnostic Imaging service
