We are looking for Newly Qualified Midwives (band 5) who are keen to work in all areas of maternity care - community, labour ward, antenatal and postnatal ward. Successful candidates must also be able to contribute to an on-call system and it is essential that you can drive and have access to a car for work purposes.
Please note in order to apply for this role, you must have completed a minimum of 3 years midwifery training or 1 midwifery placement at Dorset County Hospital and this should be explained and described within your supporting information. You must also be qualifying before or around September 2025 and available to join the preceptorship at the end of September 2025.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for Newly Qualified Midwives (Band 5) who are keen to work in all areas of maternity care - community, labour ward, antenatal and postnatalward and who are passionate about supporting women to give birth, however they chose to do so.
Successful candidates must also be able to contribute to an on-call system and it is essential that you can drive and have access to a car for work purposes. You will be working in the hospital and in the community.
