Here at DCH we are looking for experienced dialysis nurses to support the Haemodialysis teams on both the Dorchester & Bournemouth sites by joining the Trust bank. You will be a strong leader with a vision to provide excellence in renal care with consistency.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable individuals, who work well under pressure with the ability to make quick decisions and work independently when needed. You will be a professional who understands the need for care, consideration and respect for our patients but can also apply these qualities to team members at all levels. You will need to have well developed communication, organizational, prioritizing & time management skills & the ability to learn and develop quickly. You must have the skills & enthusiasm to take part in an active teaching program within the working environment.

- Registered Nurse
- Relevant Speciality course
- Teaching / assessor qualification
- Educated to degree level.
Desirable

- Previous experience within the speciality.
- Experience at senior staff nurse level
- Ability to demonstrate up to date experience and depth of knowledge and clinical competence.
Desirable
- Works well within a team and without direct supervision.
- An awareness of Trust Policies including renal NSF, clinical governance, data protection etc.
- Demonstrate ability and experience in change management/ clinical developments.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

- Recent experience within acute Renal setting and competent with dialysis skills
- Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- IT skills
- Ability to act on own initiative with evidence of sound decision making abilities
- Able to demonstrate an active role in teaching.
