This is an exciting time to join Moreton ward. We have recently been awarded GOLD accreditation.
This is permanent position located on Moreton Ward which is a 26 bed ward caring for acute medical patients at Dorset County Hospital with an emphasis on Respiratory conditions.
We would like to invite Registered Nurses/Paramedics who are keen to support the care of our medical patients.
We are looking for enthusiastic Registered Nurses/Paramedics who are organised and can use their own initiative whilst being flexible to frequently changing situations, to work alongside the senior nursing team and allied health professionals.
Main duties of the job
The post requires excellent communication skills, with a range of health professionals in relation to patient admission and discharge, to support the working of the team with internal and external agencies and fellow professionals and to support safe and effective patient discharges from hospital and assist with patient flow.
