Staff Nurse Band 5 Dermatology Outpatients

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Staff Nurse with excellent communication skills to work as part of the Outpatient nursing team. The successful candidate will be primarily based within Dermatology but will also have the opportunity to increase their skills by supporting other Outpatient departments.

Main duties of the job

Outpatients is a diverse, multidisciplinary environment which requires flexible and adaptable skills, an aptitude to learn and a motivation to develop your own clinical skills in line with progressive service delivery. This post is vital in supporting patients through their outpatient journey, as well as assisting with examinations and offering emotional support.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an ability to provide high quality safe nursing care which is driven by patient experience and evidence based best practice.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic trained nurse into a band 5 staff nurse post to assist with in the delivery of high standards of care.

The successful candidate will be dealing with both staff and patient issues, therefore will be one who demonstrates enthusiasm and motivation, excellent team working skills and forward thinking.

  • Evidence of CPD.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of working within an outpatients department.
  • Understanding of professional and current issues in nursing.
