Job summary
We are looking for a Staff Nurse who can complement our team. Ilchester Ward is a 32 bedded Medical ward.
We accept medical patients from Emergency Department. supporting patients medical and nursing needs, and preparing them for discharge back home or to another place of safety.
We are looking for a nurse who holds high standards, and adhere to the Trust Values of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence.
Main duties of the job
As a Staff Nurse you will manage a set number of patients, occasionally taking charge of the shift.
To provide excellence on care for our patients, supporting discharge back home, or to any other place of safe care.
- Act as an excellent role model by upholding and implementing good practice in the
- Act as a preceptor or assessor to junior staff and learners as appropriate including participation in induction, training programmes and staff
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to working and offer support to other colleagues who are experiencing difficulties in managing workload
