Main duties of the job

Our staffing bank is looking to grow its team of incredible Health Care Assistants (HCA's). Working on our bank allows you the flexibility of a zero hours contract, whilst allowing you to be part of one amazing team. We are looking for HCA's who can commit to at least 2-3 shifts a month butideally 3-4 shifts a week- you will have a choice of preference with surgical or medical but will need to be flexible and be able to move if required. We are a growing and changing organisation, and are looking for new team members to work with us during this time of change.
The role of a Healthcare Assistant is a very privileged role, as a HCA you will provide personal care and support to patients at their most vulnerable times. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide a compassionate, caring and safe environment for our patients.
To excel in this role you will
- Have 3 months experience as a Health Care Assistant.
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
- Have an eye for detail and be able to maintain accurate documentation.
- Be flexible and willing to work across a variety of adult wards within DCHFT.
