Job summary

The purpose of this role is to support the Service Lines and Departments with the effective management of clinical and non-clinical risk across the Trust. The post-holder will be responsible for developing, implementing and embedding risk and incident management policies/procedures, along with systems and processes. They will also support the identification and dissemination of learning from adverse events, thus contributing to the Trust's quality agenda, improving services for patients.

The post holder will ensure the Trust's overall approach promotes an open and positive risk management culture in which staff pro-actively identify and prevent risks and hazards before they escalate, supporting the delivering of high quality care to patients.

The post holder will work collaboratively with the Inquest team to support the Patient Death Investigation process and ensure robust investigations and actions are in place
