Job summary

The Digital Health Systems Administrator acts as the primary point of contact for the Digital Health Systems team, triaging and accurately logging support requests and coordinating their allocation to technical experts. The role provides essential administrative and operational support, maintaining documentation, managing contracts, assisting with AMS performance monitoring and producing KPI reports. It requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with clinical teams, suppliers and digital colleagues while supporting ISO 9001-aligned quality management processes.

Main duties of the job

The role holder will be required to handle incoming and outgoing medical device processes utilising the relevant spreadsheet or database to input the correct informationregarding each item.A large portion of this role relates to the general administration of the Clinical Engineeringdepartment in terms of answering telephone queries, engaging with ward staff who attendthe department and gathering the necessary information from Clinical Engineering staffregarding a repaired, shipped or maintained medical device. This role also includes allaspects of the purchase ordering process for spares/repairs including dealing with goodsin/out. This role also covers the support to implementation of ISO9001/ISO13485accreditation.

Due to the operational nature of the Clinical Engineering and Equipment Library services,postholders are required to work on-site on a full-time basis to ensure effective day-to-dayservice delivery and timely response to clinical needs. Working patterns will be agreed inaccordance with the needs of the service and the organisational structure. Whereapplicable, staff may also be expected to participate in an on-call rota to support out-of hours service continuity.
