- Applicants must be a team player, have excellent organisational skills and be able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. Accuracy and prioritisation skills are also required.
- The successful candidate will work closely with the the Patient Pathway coordinators as well as the team leader and Muliti-Disciplinary team, supporting the administration services.
- The ability to deal with multiple issues and operational matters is essential .
Main duties of the job
- The post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative issues relating to patients' pathway of care.
- The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will provide support to the Patient Pathway Co-ordinator (PPC) in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly.
- The post holder will ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer focussed and knowledgeable point of contact.
- To provide a consistent approach across the Trust, using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales.
