Job summary
The Trust's administration lead for the learning from death process, supports the mortality leads with dayto-day tasks, meetings and organisation, timely management and allocation of Structured Judgement Reviews, escalation of concerns, monitoring of action trackers and evidence, support and provision of regular reports to sub board committees. Managing the Mortality reviews, undertaking the training on completion of Structured Judgement Reviews and regular reporting of mortality data via the Trust Mortality lead to the Trust board and sub board level committees. To be the Trust expert on Learning from Deaths.
Main duties of the job

To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Patient Safety, Clinical Governance and Risk Management Team, to ensure the Team runs smoothly and efficiently. The post requires the ability to work on own initiative and to liaise effectively with a broad range of professions, having emotional intelligence to manage the Trust Learning from Deaths, Mortality Surveillance and Structured Judgement Reviews processes

Provide support to the Patient Safety, Governance and Risk Team, including assisting with the management of meetings, including minutes, papers, action logs and evidence for Mortality Surveillance Group (MSG) and Learning from Deaths (LfD), Triangulation.
- Undertaking regular reporting to sub-board level committees on learning from deaths and mortality surveillance. Using analytical and judgement skills to analyse and compare data within the reports
- To maintain and update as required the forward plan for the various Committee and Groups at the direction of the Head of Patient Safety, Governance and Risk.
