Job summary
An exciting position has arisen for a proactive, efficient, friendly, supportive administrator to join our experienced and hard working community specialist nursing team, which is part of the wider established and well-regarded Richmond Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team (CNRT). The nursing team comprises Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's specialist nurses who carry a caseload of patients living in the borough of Richmond and offer regular reviews as needed from diagnosis and through the disease progression, as home visits and outpatient appointments.
The team also includes a Neurology nurse who provides support for patients following a Stroke, and a Neuro Wellbeing nurse who provides support for those with mental health issues relating to their neurological condition. Thenursing service also runs group sessions for patients and carers focussing on education and support to self-manage the long term conditions.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to the specialist nurses at Richmond CNRT carrying out general clerical duties, including making patient bookings, facilitating group education sessions and managing data and resources, to ensure the smooth running of the specialist community nursing services.
The post holder would be expected to work on site, in order to best support the nursing service and the patients.
