We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual for the role of Recruitment Assistant to join our team in providing a comprehensive and high-quality recruitment service within the South West London Recruitment Hub.

This post provides a solid foundation and entry route for candidates who are interested in the field of Recruitment/Resourcing.

Main duties of the job

It is essential that you can demonstrate the ability to provide a comprehensive, first-class, customer-focused recruitment and selection service to all managers and new employees.

Ideally, but not essential, you will have worked in the NHS before and have experience of using the administrator side of TRAC, NHS Jobs, and ESR - pleasedo mention this within your application if you have used any of these systems. Knowledge of Agenda for Change and Visa's will also be an advantage.

You must have excellent attention to detail, be IT literate, and have a good working knowledge of how applicants progress through recruitment to onboarding. You should have strong administration and organisational skills and be able to manage and prioritise KPIs with a varied and very busy workload.

You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team and have a proactive and flexible approach to work. As we are a shared service you will be expected to provide support across all of our 4 Acute Trusts.

You will work alongside a supportive and highly experienced team and will be encouraged to develop and enhance your skills and knowledge in NHS Recruitment.

About us

The role involves administering the full end-to-end recruitment process for multiple Trusts within southwest London (Croydon Health Services, Epsom & St Helier, Kingston, and St Georges NHS Hospitals). Providing full HR recruitment administrative support and coordination of its recruitment activities.

This role is being offered as a Band 3 opportunity, if however you have already worked within an NHS recruitment team and have reckonable experience with a comprehensive knowledge of Trac/ESR a Band 4 may be offered.

Essential

  • GCSE's including Maths and English) or equivalent knowledge.
  • ECDL or equivalent knowledge
  • CIPD Level 3 Foundation or working towards a professional HR qualification or equivalent experience

Experience

  • Experience of working in a customer service environment and following procedures accurately
  • Experience of advising managers
  • Working to SLAs or other published customer service targets
