Job summary
To provide administrative support for the effective delivery of training and education to all grades of resident doctors within the Trust. Working as part of a team in the education centre and alongside others within PGME who manage the training programmes.
Main duties of the job
- Process study leave applications as directed in a timely manner in accordance with the procedures and dealing with related queries.
- Complete monthly NHSE Study Leave and locally delivered courses report for trust reimbursement.
- Provide administrative support for the Director of Medical Education, Deputy Director of Medical Education and Medical Education Manager.
- To provide administration support for the F2/ IMT Band 5 Coordinator.
- To support the arrangement of F2/IMT teaching programmes - e.g. confirming speakers, booking rooms and circulating to trainees.
- Support IMT Tutor and administration for the medicine faculty meeting (agenda and minutes).
- Support F2, FTPD and foundation faculty meeting administration (agenda and minutes).
- Ensure F2 HORUS e-portfolios are updated and provide administrative support for ARCPs.
- To deal with any queries relating to the on-call room and the doctors' mess.
- Provide administrative support to the Local Faculty Group Meetings and trainees for the following specialties.
- To provide administration support for resident doctors' induction as advised by the induction lead.
- To ensure that names are obtained for Educational/ Clinical supervisors from specialties for new cohorts of resident doctors
